Our Story

In 1982, our parents, John and Pat Mason, opened a small shoe store selling reconditioned pairs, factory seconds, closeouts, and first-line footwear. We were just teenagers then, working the sales floor and the repair shop alongside them, learning the business one pair of shoes at a time.

Three years later, our father passed away suddenly. Our mother — no stranger to hard times — could have closed the doors. Instead, she stepped up and ran the store herself for more than 30 years, so that her two sons could finish college and build lives of their own.

That's the kind of family this has always been. The kind that shows up, even when it's hard. The kind that sticks around.

Today, three generations later, Mason Brothers Footwear & Apparel carries that same spirit forward. We sell footwear and apparel for men, women, and kids — built for work, the outdoors, and everyday life — from brands we trust, fitted by a staff that actually knows what they're talking about. Every pair we sell still carries a little of what our mother taught us: that taking care of people is the whole point.
